Well, EBSCO Information Services is one of the largest privately held and family-owned companies in the United States. EBSCO quickly became a pioneer in the library services industry and a premier database in academia.


The EBSCO database tutorials below introduce the Graphical User Interface (GUI) WorkFlow researchers utilize to conduct academic research.

Suggested Cerritos College Library Database: EBSCO - Academic Search Complete

  • FYI: There are 29 EBSCO databases in the Cerritos College Library that use this interface workflow. (All can be accessed within the EBSCO interface separately or at once).

Database synopsis: Multi-disciplinary full text for more than 12,000 scholarly journals, including nearly 6,000 peer-reviewed titles. Offers information in nearly every area of academic study including: computer sciences, engineering, physics, chemistry, language and linguistics, arts & literature, medical sciences, ethnic studies, and many more. Also includes many popular magazines.
