If your ID and your birthday MMDDYYYY do not work with MyCerritos it means your file is not active and you may have been away from college one or more semesters.

Students who do not take classes for one semester or more their files become INACTIVE.

To reactivate your file to take classes again do the following:

• Go to Returning Student section of the Cerritos College Admissions page

  If you attended Cerritos College but did not attend the previous semester, you are required to reapply in order to reactivate your academic record.

• Once you click the Returning Student link - follow this Procedure:
  • First step you need to create a CCC#.  This number is required by state of California for Financial Aid purposes.
  • Whether you use financial aid or not you need to create a CCC#
  • Step two you refill the College Application to update your information.
  • Wait two or three working days and your file becomes active.

ACCESSING MyCerritos (after Activation of account)

Enrolling in courses is done in MyCerritos student portal.

• From Cerritos College Web Page login to MyCerritos using your student ID as username and your eight digits birthday as your password (MMDDYYYY). Single Sign On credential (Sum. 2020 update).
• In the center of page under One Stop click on Student Center link.
• On the next page check on the right hand side to see your account is clear and there is no hold.
• On the left click on Enroll. 
• Try to choose classes that are still open to guarantee yourself a seat.
• Getting on a waiting list only works for you if enough people drop. Do it as last option.

When done enrolling in classes you have seven days to pay your fees otherwise the system may automatically drop your classes and it would be very difficult to get the same classes again.
