Can I find textbooks in the library?

Sometimes professors will put a copy of a textbook on reserve in the library. To find an item on reserve, search the library's Reserve catalog.(Cerritos College Library Primo catalog)
If you want to find information about which textbooks you need for your classes and/or buying or renting textbooks you should visit the Cerritos College Bookstore website.

The library is working with the college to find a way to make reserve textbooks available in some manner, but it will not be imminent.
- Textbooks are for sale and for rent through the bookstore with free shipping.
- Students may also want to check with their professor to see if the professor made individual arrangements with publishers for access to the textbooks being used in their classes. (Copyright issues may need to be cleared with publishers for scanned chapter distribution/posting)
- Online used books is also an option. Students may be able to purchase used textbooks by checking online for used copies at reduced rates.
